Fun-Loving Social Dog

Arlo is a fun-loving social dog. He’s never met a stranger; every person and dog he meets is his new best friend and the feeling is often mutual. He loves being outdoors and spending time with his family camping, hiking, going to the beach and running. He also loves the snow, and gets excited the moment he realizes there is a fresh batch outside.

Since puppyhood Arlo has been known for being a lover of play -- he's always happy to partake in a game of tug, fetch or chase and has been known to hop straight into the air in excitement when he hears his favorite word ("Ready?") preceding the throw of a ball or Frisbee.

A chill and smart dog

Indoors, Arlo is very chill. He’s been a great work from home companion, curling up at our feet while we work and always ready to give some supportive cuddles during a busy workday. He rarely barks but will let out some gentle whines to let you know when he needs something, whether that's going out, a second helping of food or a spot on the couch (and there's always room on the couch for Arlo!).

Arlo is very smart and quickly picks up on new tricks. We often see progress even after just one session introducing a new trick or behavior and they had to stop using him as the demonstration in puppy kindergarten because he picked up on tricks too quickly to properly demonstrate.

Overall Arlo is a very loving dog with a sweet, playful disposition, who instantly found his way into our hearts and has remained there ever since.
