Sweet and adventurous

Jagger is a remarkable dog. He loves to hike, run, hunt, play and just live a dog’s life. Jag is very affectionate, though a tad shy at first, once he warms up to you he’s like Velcro. He’ll also let you know when it’s time to pet him which is just about always. He likes to nudge his nose under your hand. And he possesses the Chinook fondness for giving licks.

Jagger is great with other dogs and loves his sister Jesse. He’s also a perfect gentleman around my chickens. It took me about 10 minutes to train him to be friendly with them. Now he just hangs out with them when they are out of their coop.

He is super athletic and runs and jumps like a gazelle. He gets up at sunrise every morning and if you don’t get up with him he’ll lay right on top of you and lick your face until you do. Jagger loves the outdoors, exploring in the woods and long hikes in any weather. He loves the snow and also loves curing up by the fire in the winter.

Roos are the secret to happiness

He tells you what he wants and when he wants it. Though not a barker, he will let you know he’s glad to see you with a nice long roo. And the neatest thing about Jagger is his late night rooing he does a couple of nights a week. Although his roos last less than a minute, it has to be the coolest sound I’ve ever heard and puts a smile on my face every time. And this rooing is done while he’s sleeping.

Jagger is all boy and has kept all the good puppy traits as he has grown into an adult. He has personality for days. He loves life and is excited to meet each new morning. Jag has an ideal head that perfectly matches the breed standard. He has a nice, thick reddish gold tawny coat, great front angulation, and is very healthy.
