Family dog

Desert Sol Helios (Lio) is our first dog to be available on the Desert Sol stud market! Lio is an excellent, loving family dog! He has three children that he lives with and the youngest is his best bud (frequently using Lio as a pillow). He greets all of his kids in their rooms each morning and loves to be their lap dog when traveling in the car.

He is very gentle with his family and loves getting belly rubs by the kids. He isn’t shy to be pushy with his nose into your hand if he’s ready for some love (hmmm sounds like he got this trait from his dog-mom, Kyra!).

A looker with the perfect temperament

Lio loves to run with his mom and enjoys walks with his dad and their family friend dog walker. He knows to be mellow and affectionate indoors and playful and rowdy outside. He loves the snow (frequently bunny-hopping around in it and flipping it in the air with his nose) as well as going camping with the family.

Lio has the perfect temperament for a Chinook. He is so well loved by his family. He has a beautiful double coat that is a tawny-reddish in color similar to his mom, Kyra. His best physical qualities are his balance and head. If you like Kyra, Lio is a masculine version of her in many ways. Lio stands at 23 1/2 inches tall and weighs in at 56 pounds.
