Week 3 - 2/26/2023

In the middle of this week, all pups weighed in over three pounds each. Starting this week, pups have just now begun to have distinctive personality differences. We will briefly discuss them & their indivualities in birth order.

Rolo is beautifully marked with blackish-grey tawny highlights (will lighten as he grows) a black mask and dark toes. He is already striking to look at. Soft, cuddly, playful, calm and gentle. He will share kisses and fall asleep in your arms. His ears perk towards our voices and he occasionally barks in his sleep. Mina was the big girl at birth and a chunker now and is the heaviest of the girls! Also striking to look at with dark tawny and frosty highlights. Strong in play, sweetest growl when she plays! Great cuddler, just beginning to cut some teeth! Aime is the lightest tawny of the litter, her dark mask and tail contrast nicely and some of her toes display some white fur! Elegant face, very pretty, East Coast girl! Just another snuggle bunny! Adorable growl when she plays. Anwil was the biggest boy at birth ast remains so. Seriously black with his eyebrows, cheeks, and feet coming in tan colored, will likely look like his momma, Zia. What a big teddy bear! Sweet and attentive, great cuddler and playful.

Brisa was petite at birth but feisty among her siblings! She is nearly jet black in color (no tan points) with a shorter, denser fur. She is a vigorous competitor for her momma and responds playfully when tickled, scratched or groomed. Has more energy than her siblings and will likely be a go-getter in the doggie corporate world. Amor is "just another boring tawny color puppy with black mask and ears", nothing to see here. Wink, wink. No personality to speak of. Okay, he growls when scratched on his sides, and howls when we howl to the puppies. Cuddles and everything else, wags and barks. Playful and sweet. He already understands basic Chinese and we have been letting him drive by himself. Not attached at all to him. Eros was the last born and like Brisa is also nearly jet black in color. Sweet as the day is bright, getting his tiny teeth already. Screeches and yells when getting groomed for pee! Cuddles sweetly and plays energetically with his brothers and sisters. Falls asleep in your arms.

The puppies are all delightful and are each developing unique personalities. This morning, after weighing them, while Zia was outside sunning, we howled to the puppies a little, just to see what they would do. They were bunched up playing and then, they focused on the howls, and they all began to chime in! Cutest howl fest ever! Little voices each attempting to howl! Adorable! Then they went back to puppy playing. Then Zia came in and they piled on. They also had their first outdoor day this week and Zia nursed them in the yard under Tiina’s supervision. Tomorrow, if its warm out, they will get some more outside time. Tune in for more pupdates soon!
