Week 7 - 7/25/2024

This week has gone so fast. The puppies are super fun and playing with each other and Greta and Hermione. We had lots of visitors: College friends, Papa Bryson and Dean, and our new friend Carie the breeder.

Bryson, the sire of the litter, and his human, Dean, came for a visit on Saturday and it was adorable. Greta and Hermione went to my mom’s because our girls smell way to good to Bryson. :) Bryson was a little overwhelmed at first because ten 6-week old puppies have a lot of energy and move fast. He was so careful not to step on anyone, but very hesitant and the puppies all piled up in their sleeping area and stared at him and Dean. It did not take long for the boys, Asterix and Mars, to come forward and check Bryson out. Bryson wasn’t so sure, but the puppies one-by-one came closer and checked him out. They all loved Dean and for a couple hours investigated Bryson. Bryson was most interested in getting in the house probably because it smells like the girls.

The weather has cooled off from the 100 degree heat index days and has been in the upper 80s, so the pups have been out in their outdoor space when ever they wake up and then stay out until they are done playing or are called in to eat. They are not fans of the heat, so morning and evenings you will find them running, wrestling, batting at toys, sliding down the little slide in the pool and digging...
