Week 1 - 2/26/2022
The first week is over. The puppies are doing great and growing by leaps and bounds. Our daily processes are becoming smoother and more organized. Cleaning, feeding momma, neural stimulation exercises for the pups, etc. are becoming routine. Myka is a great mother, but she still demands that we take her out for her daily walks. The biggest shock was all the noise the puppies make when they are feeding. They scream and paw at momma as to say, 'you need to make more milk'. Myka just takes it in stride. She never gets anxious or excited. The puppies are quite active. They crawl all over and under momma.
Their eyes should be opening in a few days and there is no telling how their activities will change. We have noticed how the colors on many of the puppies have begun to change to a tawnier color for all the puppies. For all the people watching on the puppy cam, if you see a black screen, that means that we have turned the lights down. Our camera does not have a low light mode so unless the lights are bright, you won't see anything. Sorry we might upgrade the camera someday.
