Week 6 - 4/2/2022
The pups really enjoyed exploring their world this week. They had more exposure to guests including children and enjoyed their visits. Their days consists now of being able to be outside their inside and outside pens as much as possible so that they can learn about the world they will be living in. Their first consisted of learning to go up/down stairs, running, jumping, taking chew toys away from their Aunt Keelie. They are eating more solid foods and are being weaned away from the milk bar, much to Reba’s dismay. They are playing so much harder that they are starting to sleep through the night. When they are in the inside pen they are doing so much better on going potty in the designated area. Sometimes you will see them jump up and run across the pen to do their business.
Their personalities are becoming more pronounced and they continue to vie for the top dog spot in their little pack. If you are watching the puppy cam, you will notice that their play is becoming much more aggressive with each other and with the adults dogs. It changes daily who is the most ferocious pup. Momma dog and Auntie are doing great with setting some boundaries with them, but spend a lot of time playing patiently with each pup. Aunt Keelie, however, does not like it when they try to take away her big bone. Garth tried his hardest to carry a bone as long as he is away from her. LOL it was very funny to see Keelie’s reaction, but in the end Garth lost to his Aunt.

PhotosWeek 7 will be a big week for them as they will be visiting the veterinarian on Monday, so we will have a lot of stories for next week.
