What an exciting week the Music City Litter has had. This week they were introduced to new textures to stand on – different types of flooring, rugs, plastic, etc. I cannot say they were that excited about the experience. The pups started to come over the whelping pen so they moved into their play area on Friday. Garth was the first over the wall, but followed closely by the others. It only took them a couple of hours to get used to their new surroundings. They immediately moved into the crate as their new sleeping area, however, some prefer the pet bed. Cash tends to like to sleep in an area by himself.

Most of the pups are now over 4 pounds and have many teeth that have erupted. This week Reba weighs the most with Garth just behind her. Wynona however has decided she really likes the milk bar and is closing in fast.

The pups enjoy playing with each other and their toys. They had their first non-family member visitors on Tuesday and are really starting to seek out their human family for play or cuddles. Jo Dee often instigates the play and does the play growl. It is fun to see them startle themselves when they make a sound and they are not sure where it is coming from.

Overall the pups are healthy and stay awake to play more often. Myka has become such a good first time momma, she is not far from the pups and responds to their funny noises they make to ensure they are all ok. I am looking forward to what the next week brings, continuing watching the puppy cam to see their new adventures.
